BIO:
I was born on October 7th, 1981 in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya (that's east Africa). I lived there four years, after which my family and I moved to Belgium. I quickly learned to speak French fluently, and to appreciate fine food, but after only three years we moved to England - Sittingbourne, Kent, to be precise. We lived there for a year and a half before moving to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.
I lived in Brasilia for nine years - I spent almost half my life there, and it was really the important half. Because of this I consider Brasilia to be the closest thing I have to a home, though my family have since split up and moved elsewhere. In Brazil I learned to speak Portuguese fluently (though I daresay I've become a tad rusty), as well as a bit of Spanish. I had the time of my life at the American School of Brasilia (EAB) and dearly miss the good friends I made there.
After graduating from EAB in 1999, I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I attended the University of Edinburgh. I graduated nearly 2 years ago with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science. After 2 and a half years living in the Newington area of Edinburgh, I've now moved to a new flat in Morningside, where I live with my flatmates Karl and Jason, and plan to stay here for the foreseeable future.
